| | 🧑⚖️ CO Supreme Court Weighs Trans Care vs. Hospital Funding | The Colorado Supreme Court must decide whether or not to force Children’s Hospital Colorado to resume gender-affirming care for minors despite threats from the Trump administration to withhold federal funding if they do. | - How we got here: After the hospital paused those services earlier this year, a group parents of transgender children sued for discrimination. A district judge agreed the hospital’s actions do likely violate the state’s antidiscrimination laws, but the risk of financially devastating the entire hospital system was heavier.
