If you heard me in last week’s City Cast Denver podcast episode about celebrating Christmas around the city, you’ll know that I LOVE kitschy holiday pop-up bars. There’s just something about a steaming mug of boozy Christmas spirit that I can’t say no to. So here’s a roundup of just a few of the metro area’s most popular holiday bars this season:
❄️ Miracle Bar (Denver, Arvada, Golden, Louisville, Greenwood Village): A terrifically tacky Christmas explosion — you’ve been warned!
❄️ Snowdrift at Adrift (South Broadway): Love the holiday, but not the cold? This tropical tiki take on Christmas is for you.
❄️ Krampus Room at The Electric Cure (Edgewater): In case child-eating, goat-demon monsters are more your style than rosy-nosed old Saint Nick.
❄️ Tinseltown: Nightmare Before Xmas (Five Points): For the Jack Skellington freaks out there — you know who you are.
❄️ Sleigh Bar at McGregor Square (Union Station Neighborhood): Complete with holiday-themed drag shows, karaoke, trivia, movie screenings, and ice skating.
❄️ LUKI Brewery (Arvada): If Pizzelle Cream Ales and Gingerbread Cookie Porters suit your taste buds better.
❄️ Blazing Bright at Hilton Denver Inverness (Englewood): Keep it classy with Christmas-themed classic cocktails, a boozy hot cocoa bar, and holiday-inspired treats.
