Colorado Day is tomorrow! Our great state turns 147 years old 🥳 The whole Mile High will be celebrating with freebies and special parties — here are just a few of them!

🦙 History Colorado

Not only will the History Colorado Center be offering free admission to regular exhibits all day long, there will also be face painting, a petting zoo, special guests, and live music!

🥧 Center for Colorado Women’s History

Check out the center’s latest exhibition for free, then enjoy the Colorado Day festivities: live music, balloon art, a pie-eating contest, and more!

🐾 State Capitol

Visit our gold-domed state capitol building for historical exhibitions, official tours, games, food, and a presentation from the Colorado State Patrol’s Capitol inspection dog, Oly.

🏛️ Governor’s Residence

What better reason to take a free tour of the iconic Cheesman-Boettcher Mansion (aka the Governor’s Residence)? You can also nab lunch from the day’s on-site food truck.

💃 Meow Wolf

The multiverse is wishing the Centennial state a happy birthday with a Colorado-themed “neo-burlesque” show featuring hometown artists. Tickets are $30 for general admission and $45 for VIP.

🏞️ Colorado State Parks

Celebrate our great state by spending a day outdoors in the majestic Rocky Mountains! Admission to all state parks is free!

🎟️ But Wait, There’s More …

Admission to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Wings Over the Rockies, and the Denver Zoo is 50% off now through August 6!
