Last Thursday kicked off the 2023 Women’s World Cup, and the No. 1-ranked U.S. Women’s National Team is prepared to clinch a third consecutive victory (that would be their fifth FIFA World Cup win overall!). Here are a few places downtown where you can cheer on the team!
Tom’s Watch Bar
Tom’s at Coors Field will be hosting watch parties throughout the game series. Pro soccer players, like Jennifer Muñoz and Tara McKeown, will be in attendance at some of the parties to join the festivities and sign autographs.
DNVR Bar
The Colorado Rapids Soccer Club will be tuning into the tournament at THE local sports bar for Denver diehards, where a premium viewing experience is complete with comfy seating, endless screens, and classic stadium eats, like wings, burgers, hot dogs, and brewskis.
Tight End
Denver’s only gay sports bar will be showing the games all week. Here, you’ll find nine TVs, a full beer and cocktail list, and (most importantly) a safe space where everyone is welcome! (Also check out Altitude FC, Denver’s LGBTQIA+ soccer club and nonprofit.)
Raíces Brewing Co.
This Sun Valley-based, Latino-owned brewpub is one of the most popular destinations for soccer matches, thanks to their killer vibes and signature cervezas. Oh, and be sure to grab an empanada or pretzel while you’re there.
Number Thirty Eight
With a massive outdoor space and a giant projector screen for the game, you’re guaranteed good views and a great time at this hoppin’ indoor / outdoor RiNo entertainment venue.
Celtic on Market
As the biggest soccer bar in the city, Celtic on Market invites you to experience a “true football atmosphere” with more than 40 televisions, two floors of entertainment, and a charming Irish-inspired pub featuring delicious food and an expansive beer list.
