Swallow Hill Music is one of the largest music schools for acoustic instruments in the U.S. — but it’s so much more than a place to take lessons.
This Denver-based nonprofit has music therapy programs, donation-based jam sessions, and early childhood education programs that introduce the benefits of music to little ones. Here are three ways to get involved with Swallow Hill.
1. Attend a Benefit Concert
Swallow Hill is on a mission to make music education accessible to all people in the Denver area. Attend their upcoming benefit concert on Sept. 19 featuring a performance by Colorado-based band Elephant Revival, known for creating a unique musical sound blending folk, bluegrass, celtic music, and indie rock.
2. Buy a Gift Certificate

3. Get Tickets to Banjofest
Swallow Hill Music will host the third annual Banjofest on Nov. 14. A day full of banjo workshops and community jams will be rounded out by an evening concert featuring some of the best banjo musicians today, including Natalie Spears and Kaia Kater.
