Casa Bonita has finally opened reservations to the general public. No more lottery tickets or special invites required — but you’re still going to need a whole lot of patience. Here’s what you need to know.

First, Some Important Changes

  • Guests will no longer order and purchase their meal at a ticket booth upon arrival. All guests will now receive traditional table service. That means no more Chipotle-style line where you can watch your food being prepared.
  • Guests will choose between two dining options when making an online reservation: Premium ($44.99 per person, which guarantees you a seat near the waterfall) and Standard (a less-expensive seat anywhere else).
  • You’ll be charged for your experience at the end of your meal. The total will automatically include a 15% service charge. Casa Bonita’s new tipping policy has been a contested topic for the last year. If you feel so inclined, I would suggest bringing cash.

How to Make Your Reservation

Reservations for October and November opened to the public yesterday. The only way to make a reservation is at CasaBonitaDenver.com. You won’t pay for anything in advance when making your reservation, but a credit card is required to have on file for a $10 (per person) cancellation or no-show fee.

Miss your shot? Casa Bonita encourages you to “check back regularly,” as they’re “always adding new inventory.”

Prepare Your Patience

When we got in the “virtual queue” to make a reservation at 8:55 a.m. yesterday (slots opened to Founders Club members at 9 a.m. sharp — more on that below) we were 8,276th in line 🫠 Not long after, the total queue number swelled to over 50,000. By the time it was our turn to pick a slot (at 9:26 a.m.) all the “Premium Dining” options were gone. After 38 frustrating minutes of getting an error message, our late-October table was confirmed. By 11:31 a.m., Casa Bonita sent out an email announcing all early-access spots had been snapped up.

What’s the Founders Club?

Those of us who have spent the last two years on Casa Bonita’s emailing list were recently offered an honorary spot in the Founders Membership Club. The special designation comes with a 10% discount at the gift shop, priority access to reservations and events, an official CB member card (solely for bragging rights, I assume), and maybe more good stuff soon? As of right now, there’s no way to join the Founders Club.
