It’s Pride Month! And there are plenty of ways to celebrate with and support the local LGBTQ community all month long 🏳️‍🌈 Here are just a few of the local organizations making a difference: 

  • Black Pride Colorado celebrates the Black LGBTQ community’s art, culture, and history.
  • The Center on Colfax is a safe space on East Colfax, providing resources and amplifying voices of the local LGBTQ community.
  • One Colorado does advocacy work for the advancement of LGBTQ Coloradans, their rights, and their families.
  • Queer Asterisk provides counseling, education, and other therapeutic services to the queer community.
  • Transgender Youth Education Support of Colorado offers peer support for parents and caregivers, as well as social support for youth.
  • Transgender Center of the Rockies provides holistic mental health support, as well as gender-affirming services to transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive individuals.
  • Envision: You aims to bridge the gap in behavioral health support for members of the LGBTQ community dealing with mental health and substance abuse disorders.
  • Hey Denver provides free, safe, and confidential STI and HIV testing for the queer community.
  • Gay for Good Denver mobilizes LGBTQ folks and allies to facilitate and promote services and events to benefit a wide range of Denver area causes and nonprofits. 
  • Project Angel Heart prepares and delivers nutritionally supportive meals to folks who are living with cancer, HIV/AIDS, and other illnesses.
